Makeup simply enhances what is already beautiful and unique within us as women; it is a kind of frame enclosing the picture of beauty and individuality that we carry inside. It isn't essential for everyday life, but—as a woman myself—I know it often boosts our confidence, and without it, we can feel a bit "bare". Even just applying a touch of mascara can be enough to give you that confidence boost to step out the door. Personally, I believe women are beautiful without makeup regardless of age, and well-cared-for skin beats even the best foundation—after all, this natural, minimalist "makeup no makeup" look is hugely popular today. However, special occasions deserve to be highlighted with a slightly bolder look, just as jewellery, a hairstyle, or an outfit add a sense of occasion to an event. That was the case for my gorgeous clients, who looked stunning even without makeup, but chose a slightly stronger look to mark a important occasion.
