About me
Hi
My name is Łukasz Kuczyński and I am passionate about photography.
Like every young enthusiast, I started out playing around with photography using an old analogue camera and working in a darkroom. That love has stayed with me to this day. I love analogue cameras for their mechanical nature and simplicity, black and white photos for their magic and timelessness, and the moment when I can slow down and carefully consider every shot gives me what I love most.
For everyday assignments, the world of film and analogue equipment has been superseded by digital cameras and digital photo editing, which I have been doing for 15 years now.
My favourite area of photography is portraiture – I always try to dedicate a bit more time to it, to draw out all your emotions and freeze those moments in the form of photographs.
My second favourite is documentary photography – capturing an event. Finding the right approach, place, and time to present the material in an original, captivating way.
