Teatr Tańca 8 Negro

I discovered my passion for ballet at the age of 7, when I first saw the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" on stage at the Baltic Opera. From that moment on, nothing could stop me from becoming a dancer.

It happened: in 2006 I graduated from the General Ballet School in Gdańsk, and ever since that year I have been striving to nurture this passion in children and young people.

In addition, I managed to co-create the alternative dance theatre "Gabinet Ruchomych Obrazów" at the Academic Cultural Centre "Alternator", and I performed on stage in Paris, where I fell in love with the French language.

In 2017, I decided to create a unique spot on the cultural map of Tczew, which I named Teatr Tańca 8 Negro.

At Teatr Tańca 8 Negro, we teach both children and adults various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary dance, and modern jazz. We also help engaged couples prepare for their traditional first dance. Our goal is to promote dance as a wonderful and active way to spend free time across all age groups, so we ensure our class schedule is as inspiring and flexible as possible.

The word "theatre" in our name is no coincidence, as we aim not only to teach dance, but also to instil an appreciation for art and share everything we love about dance. We organise a wide range of cultural events, themed parties, ballet performances, dance shows, concerts, campaigns, and meet-and-greets with various artists. We have performed at the 20th International Days of Organ Music in Pelplin, featured at the In Memoriam Festival in Tczew with our original show "Republika", staged the ballet performance "Moana – A Dance Adventure" at the Culture Centre in Subkowy, and organised a trip to the Baltic Opera for the breathtaking ballet "Giselle". We also support various charitable causes and many other initiatives.

Above all, we want to share what we love. We founded Teatr Tańca 8 Negro to give young artists the opportunity to grow, but also to encourage adults to spend their free time actively. Our ultimate goal is to spread the love of dance.
