This is an exceptional venue where you can organise not only an unforgettable wedding ceremony, but also a reception in the fairytale scenery of one of the underground chambers, along with accommodation for your invited guests at the Hotel Grand Sal ****

The mine's convenient location (just a dozen or so kilometres from the centre of Kraków), highly original interiors, and professional staff guarantee successful events and unforgettable experiences for all attendees.

Wedding ceremonies are most frequently held in the breathtaking, grand St. Kinga's Chapel, located 101 metres underground, or in the St. John's Chapel at a depth of 135 metres.

We can host an unforgettable wedding reception in one of several charming salt chambers. For an intimate reception, we recommend the Jan Haluszka II Chamber (58 m²), which can accommodate up to 30 guests. For a larger, lavish celebration, we can host your reception in the Jan Haluszka Chamber (240 m², max. 100 guests) or in the Warszawa Chamber, 125 metres underground (680 m², max. 320 guests + 80 guests on the mezzanine).

Each underground chamber features its own dedicated kitchen facilities. All dishes are prepared on site by our chefs in underground kitchens, using top-quality ingredients, with particular care given to exquisite flavour and elegant presentation.

The newlyweds and their guests can also take advantage of the intimate Hotel Grand Sal****

Hotel Grand Sal****, owned by the Wieliczka Salt Mine, is situated in the historic St. Kinga's Park, right next to the Daniłowicz Shaft building through which visitors descend into the historic underground mine.

The hotel offers 39 comfortable rooms and a luxurious suite with a park view. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, telephone, safe, minibar, free internet access, an en-suite bathroom with a bath or shower and hairdryer, as well as a set of toiletries made with Wieliczka salt.

The hotel features a restaurant, a relaxation area, and two modern conference rooms. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and accessible for disabled guests.

Hotel Grand Sal**** is also the ideal setting for an intimate wedding reception for those who value peace, quiet, and privacy. The restaurant room spans 95 m² and can accommodate up to 60 guests. Detailed information is available at www.grandsal.pl
