Restauracja Jabłona is a venue that upholds hospitality traditions dating back to the early 20th century. The restaurant building was originally erected as part of a grand and ambitious project known as the Powidz Spa resort. In terms of scale, this undertaking could only be compared to the largest spa destinations in Poland at the time. A resort complex combining a restaurant and guest house with bathing facilities was unmatched in scope across the lakeside regions. We strive to live up to this ambitious vision and rich heritage, perfectly complemented by the undeniable charm of our location.

The restaurant's name does not come from the apple tree (jabłoń), which you would look for in vain among the many trees surrounding the building. This too is rooted in tradition. Although the venue has held various official titles, it has always been known locally as "Jabłona" or "Dołek". "Jabłona" derives from the surname of W. Jabłoński, the pre-war owner of the spa's restaurant and café. We will refrain from explaining the latter colloquial name, though it refers to the topography of the terrain rather than a state of mind!

WE SERVE TRADITIONAL POLISH AND REGIONAL CUISINE. WE PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO OUR FISH DISHES, STRIVING TO CREATE EXQUISITE FLAVOUR COMPOSITIONS. AFTER ALL, BEING RIGHT NEXT TO THE LAKE IS A RESPONSIBILITY WE TAKE SERIOUSLY.

Extensive experience alongside warm, professional service guarantees a fantastic time together with delicious, beautifully presented dishes.
