Anna Stokowska Make-up Art

The art of make-up and SFX prosthetic make-up is a great challenge for anyone wishing to uncover the secrets of this profession. Talent, sensitivity to beauty, unique ideas, hard work, continuous self-improvement, and gaining practical experience are essential to becoming a true professional. I was fortunate enough to assist from an early age in the studio of my father, a professional photographer. I worked on numerous fashion and advertising photo shoots commissioned by leading women's magazines and major agency networks in Poland. What was play for me in childhood has now become a lifelong passion. In 2011, I graduated from the international make-up and SFX school FAM, earning a diploma with distinction and the title of visual artist specialising as a make-up artist and prosthetics designer. I gained experience collaborating with the Roma Musical Theatre in Warszawa, the Mazovian Musical Theatre, Studio Buffo, Polonia Theatre, Palladium Theatre, Powszechny Theatre in Radom, and the Theatre Academy in Warszawa. I have participated in numerous photo shoots, fashion shows, film sets, and music videos, collaborating with Vitelloni Sp. z o.o. Creative Film Production, Grupa Onet.pl, Farouk System Polska, and Isabel March Art & Design, among others. I have provided make-up and SFX make-up for many special events, including weddings, Chinese New Year celebrations in Kraków, events for Marlboro, Idea Bank, and CEDC, as well as on numerous occasions for Halloween. In 2013, I was a lecturer hosting training courses in make-up and styling for Konsultant Wioletta Nowak, and since 2014, I have been a lecturer at the Warszawskie Centrum Szkolenia Perfektum in make-up, SFX prosthetics, and fashion styling.
