Let's get to know each other! I am Barbara Rompska, and through my camera lens, I strive to capture the most important moments of your lives.

But first things first…

Photography has been my biggest passion for over 12 years. I joyfully spend the vast majority of my free time expanding my knowledge in this field, although I am an energy engineer by education. Apart from photography, I love winter sports, particularly ice skating and snowboarding. In the future, I would also love to try kitesurfing and skateboarding!

When taking photos, I never limited myself to just one style of photography.

For as long as I can remember, I experimented with my friends during photo shoots to create colourful portraits, and later I began gaining experience by photographing student events and friends' weddings. Ultimately, I chose the type of photography that brings me the greatest satisfaction – wedding and family photography. Every photograph taken and every session is an enormous and unique experience for me.

The year 2018 was a turning point in my life, during which I made two very important decisions.

I decided to turn my greatest passion into my way of life, and I got married, putting me in the exact same position as you, future brides. I planned every single detail of my wedding and reception before saying 'I do'. This experience allowed me to look at the most wonderful day of one's life from the other side of the lens and understand every detail of this occasion.

A wedding photographer is not a director, which is why I try not to interfere with the flow of events unless necessary.

During a wedding reportage, I discreetly capture joy, smiles, and even tears that appear during moments of peak emotion. When it comes to family photography, I look for emotions to capture through fun moments shared between parents and children, or during a romantic walk between two lovers. Unlike large events, family sessions give us the opportunity to get to know each other better so that children feel completely comfortable around me. I aim to portray emotions, magical light, subtle gestures, and fine details that weave your stories together. I focus on natural photography full of smiles.
