The Bakery and Confectionery "DOM CHLEBA" was established in July 1994 and has been operating continuously ever since. It is a family business run by Lucyna and Jan Hartabus.

Initially, production took place in garage buildings adapted for bakery use. In 2000, a new bakery facility was constructed, which was subsequently expanded over the following years to include additional production space.

The company is headquartered in the small, picturesquely located village of Nowa Wieś in the Dobczyce municipality, nestled in the Raba River basin. We employ around 200 production workers, drivers, and technical support staff. We also provide practical vocational training for aspiring bakers and confectioners.

Our bakery staff are predominantly locals from Nowa Wieś, as well as residents from neighboring villages.

Through its continuous development, "DOM CHLEBA" Bakery has contributed significantly to reducing local unemployment by providing residents with stable, long-term jobs.

Currently, production at our company operates on a two-shift system. Our range includes approximately 47 varieties of bread, 23 types of bread rolls, and 44 types of baked savory products. Furthermore, we bake yeast cakes, shortcrust pastries, puff pastries, sponge cakes, and 25 types of delicate petit fours.

We operate our own chain of stores across the Lesser Poland Voivodeship: in Kraków, Wieliczka, Myślenice, Dobczyce, Skawina, and Wadowice.

During the summer season, we produce traditional artisan ice cream in 20 delicious flavors.
