Pałac Wąsowo – a wedding in a historic residence near Poznań
Pałac Wąsowo is a wonderful choice for couples who dream of a wedding in an elegant, historic setting, while also wanting access to extensive accommodation, dining, and leisure facilities. The estate is located approximately 45 km from Poznań and is surrounded by a 300-year-old English park that provides an exceptional backdrop for an entire wedding weekend.
The heart of the estate is the neo-Gothic Pałac Hardta, home to stately event halls, a restaurant, suite accommodation, and a Wellness & SPA area with a swimming pool and saunas. The estate is further complemented by Pałac Sczanieckich, Domek Ogrodnika (Gardener's Cottage), and Domek Odźwiernego (Gatekeeper's Cottage). This allows guests to stay in buildings with varied character – from palatial elegance to a more intimate, rustic charm.
Your wedding ceremony does not have to be confined to a single, predetermined setting. Couples can choose among scenic lakeside surroundings, the palace terrace, verdant areas of the historic park, or the chapel located within the estate grounds. We host both civil and humanist ceremonies, with the option of an arrival by horse-drawn wedding carriage as an enchanting touch. For the second-day celebration (poprawiny), our barbecue gazebo, accommodating up to around 150 guests, is also a very popular choice.
Cuisine is one of the most prominent highlights of our offering. Dishes are prepared on-site, with a strong focus on Polish and regional flavours. We source ingredients from local suppliers, gather vegetables and herbs from our own gardens, harvest mushrooms from nearby forests, produce our own honey, and bake our own bread. Our wedding menus also feature traditional Polish rustic buffets (wiejski stół), sweet tables, bespoke wedding cakes, and spectacular carved meats. Signature dishes include our palace porcini mushroom soup, duck breast with homemade steamed dumplings (pyzy), and haunch of venison.
A major advantage of Pałac Wąsowo is its extensive accommodation. Together with Spichlerz Wąsowo, the estate currently offers 150 rooms and around 420 beds, allowing guests of even very large weddings to stay overnight on-site. The room rate includes a buffet breakfast, and guests are also welcome to use the swimming pool and saunas.
Couples have four main wedding reception spaces to choose from:
- Historic interiors of Pałac Hardta
The most classic and stately option. High ceilings, monumental fireplaces, wooden parquet floors, and a stone staircase create a truly regal setting. These interiors can host receptions for up to around 150 guests.
- Sala Parkowa
A spacious, air-conditioned hall of approximately 400 m², whose greatest asset is its panoramic glazing overlooking the park. A large area directly in front of the venue provides extra arrangement possibilities. It is ideal for weddings of up to around 200 guests.
- Sala Spichlerz
Approximately 500 m² of space dedicated to larger celebrations. Natural timber, rustic features, and crystal chandeliers create a striking blend of relaxed charm and sophistication. The room is complemented by an adjacent green patio.
- Sala Wiatrak
A year-round banquet venue for up to around 150 guests. Exposed brick, wood, and atmospheric lighting lend this interior a warm, cosy ambience. The space also features an original bar, a generous patio, and immediate proximity to nature.
Our dedicated team assists not only with planning the reception itself, but also with selecting decorations, musical entertainment, lighting, stationery, and extra attractions. As a result, Pałac Wąsowo allows you to host your entire celebration seamlessly in one location – from the ceremony and wedding reception to on-site accommodation, the second-day celebration (poprawiny), and shared relaxation the following day.

Mieliśmy okazję zorganizować wesele w Pałacu Wąsowo, w Sali Parkowej, i jesteśmy naprawdę zachwyceni! ❤️ Od pierwszego spotkania byliśmy pod ogromnym wrażeniem profesjonalnej organizacji i podejścia do klienta. Mieliśmy przyjemność współpracować z Panią Martą K., która jest nie tylko przesympatyczną osobą, ale również bardzo wyrozumiałą, profesjonalną i świetnie zorganizowaną. Wszystkie spotkania przed weselem dostarczyły nam ogromu informacji. Pani Marta uważnie słuchała naszych pomysłów, pomagała je realizować, a podczas samego wesela cały czas czuwała nad przebiegiem uroczystości i na bieżąco informowała nas o tym, co się dzieje. Jedzenie weselne było przepyszne! Rzadko spotyka się, żeby potrawy na weselu były aż tak dobre – wszyscy nasi goście je chwalili. Ogromnym atutem są również pokoje w zamkowym stylu – przestronne, pięknie zadbane i idealne do wykonania sesji zdjęciowej przed lub po weselu. Jesteśmy naprawdę bardzo zadowoleni i po raz kolejny chcielibyśmy podziękować Pani Marcie za wszystko, co dla nas zrobiła, oraz za ogromną pomoc i wsparcie. To był dla nas wyjątkowy dzień, a Pałac Wąsowo zdecydowanie spełnił nasze oczekiwania! ❤️
W Pałacu organizowaliśmy przyjęcie weselne i jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni! Rozpoczynając od kontaktu z Panią Iwoną po samą organizację i obsługę przyjęcia. Jedzenie bardzo dobre, w sporych ilościach, kelnerzy bardzo przyjaźni i profesjonalni. Zarówno sala weselna jak i park prezentują się wspaniale. Nie mogliśmy wymarzyć sobie lepszego miejsca, by uczcić nasz dzień :). Polecamy!!
2. Polecamy to piękne miejsce. Pałac położony bardzo urokliwe, zachwyca o każdej porze roku. Długo zastawialiśmy się nad wyborem sali na nasz najważniejszy dzień w roku i nie żałujemy, że padło właśnie na Pałac w Wąsowie. Bliskość kaplicy, gdzie odbyła się ceremonia, piękna sala z widokiem na park, strefa chill out, bardzo dobre jedzenie, miła pomocna obsługa.
