The Old Florence Dixie Band
The Old Florence Dixie Band is a famous Dixie band that was born in Florence Italy. In 2015 a few guys decided to play together in the main squares to advertise their JAZZ NEW ORLEANS ! Some of them were already playing in other bands as professional musicians. Now the band is formed by 9 musicians. We are actually hired in many Weddings, Luxury Celebrations, Festivals, Tuscan Sagras and Private Parties.
We are very versatile and can play our style starting from 4 musicians. Our purpose is to propose the old situations & sounds of the simple music played by the "fathers" of traditional jazz in the '20s /'30s
Our best satisfaction (when we seldom play in big squares) is watching shy people start moving first their feet and then the whole body or just meeting somebody who congratulates for some magic moments they spent flying back to the past.
